Website terms of use
This is an English translation for convenience. If there is any difference, the Korean version prevails.
These terms apply to the use of the Guri Riding Club website (guriridingclub.com). Matters concerning the use of the riding grounds themselves are governed by the Terms of use.
Effective date: 6 October 2026
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the website of Guri Riding Grounds (Guri Riding Club), operated by the Seoul Equestrian Federation (the "Website"), and the rights and obligations of users and the Federation.
Article 2 (Services provided)
- Information about the club, facilities, horses, programmes, fees, directions and so on
- Receipt of booking requests, such as for trial rides, lessons and livery consultations
The Website can be used without registering as a member.
Article 3 (Effect of a booking request)
- When a booking form is sent on the Website, a reference number is issued. This only means that the request has been received, not that the booking has been confirmed.
- A booking is confirmed when the club assigns the schedule, horse and coach and notifies the user of confirmation.
- Personal information in the form is processed in accordance with the Privacy policy.
Article 4 (Obligations of the user)
When using the Website, users must not:
- apply using another person's name or contact details, or enter untrue information;
- repeatedly submit the form by automated means, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Website;
- attempt to access areas they are not authorised to access, such as administrator screens;
- use the content of the Website commercially without the Federation's permission.
Article 5 (Published information)
- Fees, opening hours and programme information on the Website may change as circumstances require. If information on the Website differs from what is given when a booking is confirmed, the information given at confirmation prevails.
- Horses' racing records and national horse statistics are based on data from Horsepia (KRA horse registry) of the Korea Racing Authority (KRA), and the reference date is shown with them.
- Guidance on riding safety and health is general information and does not replace medical advice.
Article 6 (Copyright)
Copyright in the text, photos, logos and design published on the Website belongs to the Federation or the rightful owner. Licences for external works used on the Website, such as fonts and maps, can be found under Copyright and licences.
Article 7 (External links)
The Website contains links to external sites such as Kakao Map, Naver Map, TMAP and the KRA's Horsepia. The content and handling of personal information on external sites are governed by those sites' own policies.
Article 8 (Interruption of service)
The Federation may temporarily suspend the Website because of system maintenance, faults, circumstances of the hosting provider and so on. In that case, booking requests are taken by the club directly.
Article 9 (Limitation of liability)
The Federation is not liable for damage arising from use of the Website for reasons not involving the Federation's intent or negligence, such as natural disasters, causes attributable to the user, or unlawful acts of third parties.
Article 10 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute is resolved by the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
Supplementary provision
These terms take effect on 6 October 2026.
